John kissed her during his appearance on the ZEE Tv show ´Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing superstar´ with music composer A R Rahman for the promotion of his new film 'Jhootha Hi Sahi'.
Even Sugandha was on the top of the world after kissed by John her grandfather was quite upset at this public display of affection and the papers in Chandigarh were plastered with the grandfather's outburst at the stunt.
John once again attended the sets as a guest and apologised for the kiss on television.
